Japanese-style Speedos

Post by Tottenhot » Fri Dec 31, 2010 6:11 pm

Hi!

I am interested in buying Japanese-style Arena, Asics or Speedo, though I don't quite know where it is reliable to do so... eBay seems very difficult to buy from, with PayPals and such things. Would someone happen to know some appropriate web shop from where I could buy this kind of swimwear? :)

Hey Tottenhot!

This is a site in Japan. Great selection but VERY expensive, at least in $US...maybe the krona is better. To figure out the Japanese characters click "overseas" on the home page...then "this guide" under "how to order."

I have some others sites in another web browser that I'll look up.

Here's another in English with better prices (sort of) and the postage included. They have a lot more jammers than racers/briefs. Some of the Asian jammers are really beautiful...and expensive. Anyway I saw some decent pairs of Arena briefs.

Thank you very much for your advice! :) They are a bit expensive, but the Swedish krona has been going strong for a while now, so now if ever one should buy in Swedish money.

Be careful when ordering - here is a size small Japanese suit next to a size 28 Nike.

John,

Crazy...

Some sites have size conversion charts that help. I have to wear an "L" in some Asian suits--like my Yingfa jammers. Even then they run small. In american sizes I take an "S."

That blue Arena is so beautiful. Too bad only a six year old can fit into them....

Tottenhot! Here's one more site, a Singapore site, that has cool Arenas and the prices are good.

http://www.hotbodsswimmer.com/catalog/index.php

I think you can buy with just a regular credit card here. They also have an ebay store I bought an Arena from them there. Ebay has a site in Sweden. You should be able to get Paypal from them that can be used on any ebay site. I had a Paypal card before I even had a credit card.

The Arena I bought was a "32" and fits like US 30. Not a Japan suit. Probably from Thailand. The butt has a fuller cut than suits from Japan like Aqux. It's really comfortable and looks cool. Have worn it doing laps in a public pool.

I posted these before. The image quality is bad.

I usually get mine from here, more affordable than AQUXs or Jap Arenas and I find the quality really decent for the price. With free international shipping too. Some of their designs are really skimpy tho!
