Seams on the back of the speedo?

Post by GermanSpeedoGuy » Tue Feb 12, 2019 2:18 pm

Whats your opinion on seams on the back on you speedos? Do you think the ass looks better with them. Or do you find them more comfortable?

I have just got a pair of Nike swim briefs. These ha e the stitching down the back. TBH I am not that bothered by it, it’s the stitching on the front I hate.

Yeah, my Nike are comfy. I wasn’t sure about it at first but the more I wear them the more I like them.

I don't like a front seam either. I rather like a back seem. It's anatomical.

I don’t like the seams. But some style the seams make your bum less saggy haha.

But definitely not a front seam.

Big fan of the steam here,
Makes the arse look great!

Though variety is always good ;-)

You can’t tell us something like that and not back it up with photographic evidence. Shame on you.
Perhaps we should put it to a vote.

Most briefs have a rear seam today, every one I have purchased for a while now. The premise is that it helps the suit hug your contours for better hydrodynamic efficiency.

I don't like front seams either. That unfortunately makes the Speedo Solar a non-starter for me. Otherwise it'd be right up my alley.

I like the seam up the back. Looks sexier and I like the feel; a bit of tension between my cheeks. Not such a fan of the seam at the front although it does usually mean more space. As there are not so many on the market, I made my own.

Taking “speedoaddict” advice I’ve attached an image.

Wow, I guess as you're making your own you can really make to measure! As you seem to have here! Hot!
We can really identify both cheeks ;-)

Thanks everyone for the positive comments. My sewing skills are not that great, so they are not often seen in public, but admit I love to experiment.

Maybe I’m in the minority, I like a front seam - I feel like it gives you more room in the front.

I also love a rear seam, really feels like it lifts and shows off the back. Hence why I love the speedo solar.

However there is also something really great about a brief that has no obviously seaming front or back and a hand can just run all the way around

I love the seam in the back, especially on 1" swim briefs, which I wear when I swim and take Water Aerobics classes.
The seam helps me to swim/exercise better, and I love how it clings to and shows off my ass.

One of the reasons I love speedo solars is the rear seam. I have one Nike with a rear seam, also. I wish more brands would use them, they fit better,I think, and certainly look hotter.

Definite YES! Like all my suits that have a rear seam better. Much nicer fit and my ass looks so much better in them … especially when wet.
