Anyone Own Arena 1" Briefs From Asia?

I'm really interested in buying some of these 1" briefs from Singapore, but I wasn't sure how they fit... anyone tried non-Japanese (which are super tight, I know) Arena briefs?

I have a pair of white Arena Santamarias which are tight but comfortable. I don't think you'll regret buying any Arena suit

The only asian style speedo I've ever owned were a pair of Aqux which were tiny. I'm going to try that eBay order and buy 2 sizes bigger (the biggest they have). Thanks for the link!!!

I don't have the 1" sides but I did get the Singapore version of Arena. I bought one size larger (36) whereas I usually wear a medium and the fit is comfortable. Nice pouch for the boys!

i actually have purchased those exact e-bay listing and i'm a 34" in speedo brand but recommend the 36" . This is due to japan sizing being a bit small..the fabric is very smooth. these my second favorite pair next to Neptune scepter.

You like them? Too skimpy? Not skimpy enough? I like a brief in the 1”-2” side range (1.5” or so in my avatar), and I figure those are about the same...

I'd say they're just right. I took out a ruler and measured, They're closer to 1.75" Mine are just plain black with a small arena logo pattern on the hip of the suit. I like them. They would, of course, look much better on you than me. The fabric on mine is a polyester blend, so it isn't as soft as some other blends. I'd say they'd stand up well to laps. Haven't used them for that yet though: they still have tags on them. Fairly full butt coverage, so they are designed for swimming more than casual wear. I got them from a Singapore ebay store, IIRC. I bought mine on a closeout, so it's an older design. They're well made.

Go a size larger, or else you won’t get us much coverage round the back and will be too tight round the front, and too “low rise”.

You’ll stand out doing laps but not too much, if that’s what your looking for go for it.

Had them in the past - sizing is small. I take a 34 or 36 Speedo, but needed a 38 Arena. Red ones in Avatar pic were the best I ever had.
