I prefer 1" sides, but if I'm at the beach I might go for less to maximize tanning.

1” or less for me unless I’m around families with a lot of kids. Then I’ll go with a little more coverage.

This seems to be a common attitude here. My question is what difference does it make to children if your suit is one inch on the side or two inches? I would be more concerned about penis outlines and butt coverage.

2in for swimming at the pool. 1in (or less) for the beach or sunbathing.
Speedos - the only way to swim...

Normally 1 inch - I have to live the suit to wear wider - like the one in my pic. Loved the colour so much I was okay with the wider sides

1.5 (speedo solar) to 2. Anything wider than that, what's the point? :P
