G'day Guys,

Welcome to the Speedo Forum.

If you are a guest, you can only see a small portion of the forum. Members like posting their speedo selfies so I don't like that to be 100% public. However, joining is free.

I really like the 1" racers but they seem a little too high in the front. What distinguishes a vintage style from a regular style?

In this case, I think they might have been referring to the stripe pattern. Vintage speedos from the age of nylon had wider sides.

They appear to suffer from the same "loose" interpretation of what "one inch" actually is that the present day Speedo Solars do. They are nice looking suits, for sure, but they're 2" at the sides, or 1 1/2" at best, not 1", and they shouldn't claim to be 1".
