From the cold Midwest
I've been on the board for a little while, but I've never introduced myself. I just added my avatar for the first time, so I figured now would be a good time. I'm 23 and active; my sport of choice is cycling, but swimming is a great way to relax.
I got my first speedo to wear privately when I was about 14/15. I would sometimes wear it under a pair of shorts, but never on its own. The last two years or so I have been transitioning to wearing speedos all the time. At the moment all I have are squarecut speedos because the one pair of briefs that I had got worn out.
It's very cold in my area of the Midwest right now, but I'm thinking of joining a new gym with a pool so that I can swim even over the winter.

Welcome to the site hope you enjoy it. I agree with you about trying to wear your swim briefs to the gym pool. I did that and its helped me overcome my fear of ppl seeing me in one.
Life is too short to worry what other people think.

welcome zaps! Looking great in your suit. I also do cycling and have my indoor trainer for the cold months. Hang in there during the winter. I make sure to keep swimming laps even on the coldest days.
Re: From the cold Midwest
Thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone. With -20F wind chills today, I like thinking of warm speedo beach weather.

Zaps, I find the best way to warm up is to strip down, put on a Speedo and take some pictures. And then post 'em. You're too sexy to not share more of that body with us here!zaps wrote:Thanks for all the warm welcomes everyone. With -20F wind chills today, I like thinking of warm speedo beach weather.
Re: From the cold Midwest
Here are a couple pics of a new suit I bought about a month ago. It's too cold and I don't have access to a pool, so it has yet to see water, but I think it'll be a nice suit.brooklynduck wrote:Zaps, I find the best way to warm up is to strip down, put on a Speedo and take some pictures. Re: From the cold Midwest
Welcome! You are in good company here - I also like cycling - usually average 230-250 miles per week, sometimes I'll push it up to 300+. Cycling is relaxing - but it's hard work, I ride hard, I've learned how to hurt myself, to use that old cycling quote.zaps wrote:I've been on the board for a little while, but I've never introduced myself. You are looking pretty fit - never seen a suit like that before. :)
Re: From the cold Midwest
Welcome, zaps- I'm new here too. Great suit- I think I have a similar cut in different colors. Mine is a cheap Chinese one I got via Amazon (I cut the rubber logo off).
