Hey guys I was just wondering if any of you guys in the uk have ever been to the sports direct stores to look for speedos they have some arena ones for like £4 and some addidas for like a fiver any of you recommend any of these if they have seen them.

They also have jocks in the cricket section for £1.50 tho there is no way I have the guts to buy one of those.

Thanks guys

I bought my Adidas trunks from Sports Direct! The ones in the cities tend to pack more of a variety than the small one near me, they just stock Slazenger and to be honest - I'm not a massive fan of them.

I've seen the Arena trunks online but not seen them in any of the stores yet, as soon as I do I'll be sure to pick up a pair if I don't buy one online soon. I've been meaning to pop to the one in Swansea for awhile now and buy the black and white three-stripe Adidas in 32" (i've got it in 30" which unfortunately is a tad too small for the public pool)

Yeah They seem really good, the arenas are really cheep they also had addidas which I think Id really like, they also had some puma ones which looked good, but to be honest they seem to change brands every few weeks so I guess someone is buying them.

Just need to get some balls and buy some x

Do it, mate! No-one's going to judge. Obviously other people are buying them, you'll be just one more customer.

Let us know which ones you go for! I can vouch for the Adidas as being very comfortable and they look great!

Hey there,

I bought my adidas three stripes from sports direct and they are one of my favourite pairs :)
Like Nate said just pick one up and buy one, you'll just be another customer in the store as I used to work in sports direct as well :D

Got some Adidas ones today from Sports Direct. Was feeling a little worried walking to the counter. When I got there, the chap said, 'your brave, swimming in this weather with budgie smugglers!' I just smiled and told him I was training for a triathlon! Had a great feeling walking out the shop with my purchase!

I've brought Slazenger swim briefs and jammers from there. Quality is ok but I did find that the label rubbed the base of my spine and felt sharp. I've got the Puma foundation? briefs as well, although I brought them from Puma's own site and they were a lot more.
As for feeling self concious the staff will be run off their feet all the time, so they'll hardly notice what you are buying, it's so busy!
