Aussiebum questions

Post by rxcollegeguy » Sun Jan 13, 2013 11:43 am

How different are the Classics and Loose briefs? Is the Boosterjock/Wonderjock make much difference? Is it comfy or annoying to wear? If you are using the boosterjock pouch area, is the material left in front now considered "unlined" or is it still double layered/lined in front?

I'm thinking about getting some navy 1.5"s but unsure between Classic or loose and if the BJ/WJ is worth it or not.

Thanks!

"Does the Boosterjock/Wonderjock make much difference?"
Yes. But in my opinion it makes the bulge look unnaturally huge and sticks out way too much in an odd shape.

"Is it comfy or annoying to wear?"
I found it very uncomfortable and it did get on my nerves, especially after long periods of time wearing it you will start to ache downstairs, it's not nice.

If I remember correctly, it isn't lined in front. I could be wrong, it was awhile ago that I threw them out and my memory is like a sieve.

Hope that helps!

The area above the Boosterjock pouch is lined - the lower part of the lining (on my Classics, anyway) is in effect turned up to form the pouch. I don't find them uncomfortable to wear for some time, but I don't like them to swim in, it creates a drag effect.

I've wondered about the actual difference between Classics and Loose, some of the pixs are identical [eg 1.5" royal blue].

The only difference between the classic and the loose is the classic has an elastic and drawstrong around the waist and the loose only has the drawstring with no elastic. I prefer the loose for comfort but horses for courses.

Ive never had the BJ/WJ

I have the boosterjock and never had any trouble with comfort. I wore them for 5 hours everyday in Punta Cana. I didn't find my bulge unnatural. But i do remember being allowed to enter a retaurant in just my boosterjock. the girl smiled when I asked if I should put on some shorts. She said there was no need.

All my Aussiebums are the Loose type and agree with Nate's experience, although I'm too cheap the throw them out. I've got the red Broome with the boosterjock, and I don't like wearing them much because the top of the pouch cuts at the underside of my penis, and I'm not that large. Oddly, my smaller 1.5" boosterjock Horizons fits better, but the pouch is still noticeable. The front of the suit is double lined in front of the pouch.

My best fit are the white Coolbahs, and being double lined doesn't make a difference when wet. I want some additional Aussiebums, but the colors I want have the boosterjock/wonderjock and with my experience, I'm hesitant on ordering them because of the uncomfortable feeling.

Good questions, wish I had asked them before buying the boosterjocks.
Let's keep it brief.
