Muscleskin Suits

Hey, I was wandering what you thought of these suits. I am thinking about ordering one and wasn't sure how they hold up to the beach and pool.

I have a collection of muscleskin thongs mostly. I also have a pair of briefs. I have worn them all as underwear and they have help up to washes but I've never worn them into a pool I'll admit. My boyfriend thought the briefs were "too brief" for public consumption :) sorry I can't be of more help.

I have two suits from them. Size M was too big, so I got an S as well. I would not buy them again, because with my upper legs, they are simply not suitable. I can grab around my upper legs when I shape a circle around them with both my hands with thumb and middle finger. The leg openings are simly too big then. There is hardly any stretch in the suit, which creates this incredibly smooth look. But it does not work for me. Besides that, the upper seam is so small, that it does not stay in place and always folds over.

The fabric is absolutely great and probably the thongs are nice. But no, for smaller guys without enormous glutes it is not the suit, in my experience.

I've bought a few muscleskins over the years but always custom made like the one below. The guy who makes them (Jupiter) is very eccentric but if you politely tell him exactly what you want, he hand makes a very nice ultra-skimpy suit. I won't swim in anything without a drawstring like this one

Try one. The're sleek, silky and sexy :P

Looks like the same model as from the Muscleskins site. If I had glutes like that, I would wear them, haha!

Maybe I should give him another chance, but the reply I got back that most of their customers were bodybuilders with big glutes and upper legs, made me think their suits were not suitable for my body type. The drawstring may solve one more problem. I love their fabrics!
