could this be a country thing? most guys in the US that wear speedos point down. Is this a cultural? or regional?

Could be - or a generation thing. I'm a down pointer, and always have been. To do it any other way is uncomfortable and just doesn't feel right.

don't agree with this whatsoever. i swam competitively in h/s and college, and most guys (mostly Americans) point up. maybe the difference is if you wear speedos for fashion or function.....???
