Could some one suggest a nice but reasonably priced resort in Key West. Scotty you go there alot, where do you stay? Also since I will be going by myself would I feel better at a large resort where there may be more singles?

The Island House is probably the nicest but it is also probably the highest price and it is the furthest from all the action. I like the New Orleans House which, I must admit doesn't have the nicest rooms, but it is right in the middle of everything and has a very friendly atmosphere "out back" where there is a clothing optional sundeck, pool, 16-person hot tub, and bar ... I went there alone and ... well lets just say I wasn't alone much ... :)

I've stayed at the Oasis complex a couple times. Each time in a different one of their houses. Coconut Grove is definitely the nicest of the three. Coral Tree is fine though and a bit cheaper I believe. With the guests from all three houses mingling all day you will have a chance to meet all sorts of people. I have friends I made there that I now travel with regularly.

I had a friend stay at Equinox last time we were in Key West. The room was nice. The only issue is that the pool area doesn't seem to get full sun for large parts of the day (at least during the winter months).

I also had a chance to check out Big Ruby's. The pool area was nice. They have a gym which for some reason shows porn on the tv. The clientèle seems a bit younger than Oasis or Equinox. The room seemed fine. The only complaint I heard about the place was the free roaming roosters making noise in the morning.

I'm not sure any of these places could be considered reasonable though.
