Had a favorite pair of black speedos ripped out the ass during a rough water polo practice game yesterday. This got me to thinking-how long do your speedos usually last before they bite the dust.Ours get alot more use probably than yours but it would be interesting to hear.

Old speedos never die. They get sold on Ebay, given away, or used as drag suits or cum rags. Seriously, there are very few speedos I throw away. I keep them for various purposes until the are almost transparent or completely stretched out and decayed. If there's a pair I don't want, I "donate" it to some needy stud by leaving it hanging in the showers or sitting on a gym bench.
In terms of "how long", I'm a serious U.S. Master's competitive swimmer and I train 60-90 minutes a day, 7 days a week. I was lucky to get 3 or 4 months out of a nylon/lycra blend suit, before I had to retire it from daily use. I love my new Tyr Durafast polyester suits - I've yet to wear my first one out after more than 2 years - I wear those exclusively for swimming. I still love the lycra suits, but just for showing off, fooling around in, and wearing to the beach, etc.

Matt,
They look exactly like the classic 3" Tyr racer brief - they're just made of a stretch polyester fabric instead of nylon/lycra spandex. They cost a whopping US$1 more than the lycra brief (usually around US$19), and are available in red, royal, navy and black. Sizes run from 28 to 38 (US), I believe. As far as fit and feel, you can read about it in my review here, at the bottom of this page:
http://www.swimoutlet.com/product_p/1938.htm
The material feels like a heavyweight spandex - it isn't quite as silky or smooth as nylon/lycra, but is still very comfortable. It's not quite as good for showing off because of its heavier weight and because the material isn't quite as stretchy, but if you want a comfortable, great-looking, very durable suit for serious swimming, you can't beat the Tyr Durafast.

I am used to Speedo and mine have lasted about as long as 6 months due to serious pool use.
The water polo team I coach might be using Ducko this year. I have to say, they seem to be quite durable. I will be curious to see how long they last.

Not being a serious swimmer or water polo player, my speedos tend to last for as long as I can fit into them .... subsequently the only 'blowout' that occurs is my waistline or the odd pair of speedos that has been blown in that many times that it's time to ditch them (a rare occurrence indeed as a creamed speedo usually gets washed after each occasion).
I currently have 30+ speedos, some of which no longer fit. Alas, I may soon have to make a few pairs available to forum members. I will make a post when that time comes. Regards .... Geoff

SpeedoMike:
Yes I was wearing them at the time. I figure if you're going to blow in your speedos you might as well go the whole hog and be wearing them.
I usually like to store up my reserves for a week, so that when I get the urge, I can be sure of creating a nice sized wet spot, sometimes with little off-shoots due to cock movement and involuntary 'spasms' for lack of a better word.
I don't do it that often but every so often it feels good and the sense of anticipation that occurs at the final moment prior to release creates erotic spine tingling waves.
My fantasy would be to do it with one or two other guys each of whom would be in speedos. We would either get ourselves off or arouse each other to the point where each of us cums in our speedos at the same time .... as nice as that may sound, synchronicity would be the only thing that's not a given.
Regards ...... Geoff
