G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.

Pleased to see lots of speedos at the beach this past weekend, and no one flinching at the sight of them.

I learned a new word: inguinal.
Here's a quote:
"...if you Google “Tom Daley” and “Speedos”, once you have finished marvelling at his inguinal creases, you’ll appreciate why Out magazine once described the Speedo as “the single most perfect and pithy item of clothing ever designed for the male body."

great article, wish more Americans would read it
Re: Trunk call: the comeback of skimpy Speedos
I'm in my fiftieth year of competition swimming. That's fifty years of wearing brief style swimsuits, too!. Not just for actual swimming, either. I've always worn them at the beach, the lake, at home doing yardwork. Because it would kill me to have a dorky tan caused by wearing big shorts too much. I like my speedo tan and get a decent one every summer.

Come back? As far as I'm concerned they never went away!
The article vindicates what I have always believed - I have always worn speedos and speedo-style briefs since childhood because I feel comfortable in them, and because they are the best design for me for swimming, and also for sun tanning. I don't wear them for other people.

Every man should own a Little Black Speedo

Great article!
"It is quite strange that most male swimmers opt for heavy, draggy swimwear; that we made a civilisational leap towards liberated mermanhood only to lose our collective nerve. It would be a bit like women collectively deciding that no, bikinis are a bit much, best go back to woollen bathing dresses."

Anybody who actually swims knows what to wear.
