Speedo Solar Brief VS Endurance

Post by Mazda3mps » Sun May 20, 2018 2:52 pm

Hey guys.

I am looking at the Speedo Solar style
http://www.internationaljock.com/speedo ... 30358.html

Has anyone tried this style? if so how do they fit compare to the endurance style?

most mens suits start from a size 32 from speedos, so i saw these made in size 30 and thought ill give them a go.

Keen on the below two colours :P

I have about 7 speedo solars, I think they have the best fit for my body. Macys has a sale today online for about $15, but unfortunately, even that is not budgeted right now. Most of mine are 30s, but I do have a couple of 32s because I liked the color and 30s were sold out

I really hope they fit me. I have such a weird body.

If too big I get a saggy bum. Looks like I shat my pants.

Too tight I’ll get the biggest muffin top

Mazda3mps,

I've owned a few Solars and Endurance speedos over the years. I'm more of a size 34 to 36 and i've just never found the Solars to fit me right or look that good.

The Endurance, I've probably owned 10 pairs all in black, and I've used them as a go-to for the pool/lap swimming. They aren't made of lycra, I'm not sure what they are made of but they tend to last ages.

Dave
I'm pretty sure I'm the biggest speedo enthusiast on the planet.

Yeh I heard solars don’t have much stretch. Hopefully it fits me. Did u have to go up or down a size compared to endurance?

Haha why do u have ten pairs of black endurance??

I'm wearing a Solar in my avatar. I find they have plenty of room up front for me without being to tight, and I like the way they fit on the back. I wear a 30 waist pants, and that is what I get in my swimwear, never had a problem with proper fit.

Ok hope it fits then. I’m a 32 pants. But speedos endurance 30 is loose and they said solar is tighter. So hope for the best hahaha aud60 is pricey so it better fit

That's a speedo 1" solar in my avatar. Sizes run true. My only complaint is they stretch out after a season or 2 depending on how much u wear it.

Endurance = shit material, long lasting but doesn’t feel so great
Speedo Solar = good cut, weird seam on the very front that runs down, nicer material

I've got the second style in that heather grey colour, which is a kind of grey marl effect but done in Lycra instead of the usual cotton.
Fit is good, I've had two other pairs of solar's before. They have a cock seam and an arse seam to mould it all to your bod better [Technically the front seam isn't a true seam as it's a way of interlocking the liner to the outer which is why the "seam" looks a bit bulky]. I think other brands do the "Cock seam" business better than the Speedo Solar and hip sizing is a bit out, as the more recent Solar's have hips that aren't quite as high cut as they used to be.

Speedo Endurance are completley different. The material is a chlorine +sunlight resistant stretch polyester, rather than nylon and I don't think they have any lycra in them. They don't stretch as much as lycra- it's like they grip you rather than hug you- aren't as shiny, have a slightly corser weave and they can't show as much detail with printed patterns. Basically Endrurance is for swimmers who knock out lap after lap regularly at heavily chlorinated pools whilst Solar's are for pulling at the beach [I exagerate but used every day at that pool, Solar's won't last and Endurance briefs can't match that majestic meat n' two veg bulge or the pert arse cheeks of Solar's].

If this sounds like a downer on the Endurance briefs it's not, my long time fave Speedo's are my blue Endurance Starfight briefs, over the years I've come to love everything about those badboys.
Real men wear Speedo's

In regards to comfort, I found that penis support is much better and more supportive with the solar due to the lycra.

A good buddy of mine swam on his high school team in hammers and wore nothing but for years. Until our last year of university when he tried on a pair of Solars out of curiosity and has worn nothing but since, so I’d call THAT an endorsement!

Don't like the solar ones, tried one pair once, as for endurance ones, had 2 pairs. Both were awesome.
