HBO Here and Now Pool Scene

In the original HBO series “Here and Now” Duc (Raymond Lee) wears a speedo at the pool while swimming laps and filming a video for his fans on social media. I wonder if the show went in this direction because they see it as a trend in fashion? Then again its not uncommon for men to wear speedos while swimming laps.

Not uncommon at all. We swimmers will wear the proper uniform! I can't even tell you how many years it's been since I swam in a jammer. Hate those things.

I think some guys go for the jammer because it's more modest than your typical swim brief. I think a jammer can be even more revealing because it allows much more for "expansion". The brief keeps everything in one area.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

I bought a few, but they feel too bulky--even the ones that are cut lower and more anatomical. Maybe the expensive tech ones have compression qualities that some swimmers like, but I don't need that.

I have one jammer that I can tolerate--an old TYR 100% polyester, might be a size too small, because it's tight, little stretch. I cut the leg seams off because they were way too tight, and I can't stand them on any jammer. But it swims well and feels kind of water repellant. Very other jammer I've tried sucks! I might as well wear board shorts, of a diaper. :0/
