Aruba Planning

Post by shadowmn » Wed Jun 28, 2017 3:48 am

My wife and I are planning a trip to Aruba in the fall. Does anyone have any suggestions on where to stay? Also, what's the speedo situation down there?
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

I stayed at the Ritz Carlton when I was there. Beautiful hotel. There were several other guys there in speedos as well.

I stayed at the Marriott. Overall, the island is very american. I saw one older gentleman in a Speedo Solar at the beach & two guys from Brasil in sungas. I think for that trip I only brought a very low waist sunga type suit myself. I don't wear 'sport' suits on vacation so it could have been just the mood I was in when I was packing so no briefs were packed. My son was wearing them if that counts. Either way, I remember that while I didn't see many (and mostly board shorts), I personally did not care. It is sort of like going to Mexico - you are in a foreign country and folks will never see you again. If they don't hear you talking, they will think you are a foreigner......
