Sugestions or Advice Please

Post by speedoboi » Fri Mar 08, 2013 6:04 pm

Hi there,

I improved my swimming abaility with a private swimming instructor who played water polo and was on the swim team. Naturally I thought he would be wearing speedos during the lessons. I had to stop because of my job. I used to do many assignments near him, but not anymore. He had a hot body, but he only wore a wet suit, no speedo underneath, even though I wore speedos underneath my swim shorts and made that known.

The site, craigslist.ca has a section for men seeking men. I was thinking of posting an add requesting a private male swimming instructor. I'm not sure if i should specify he should be bi or gay, or curious and speedo wearer. I'm not looking for sex at all. But he could certainly fondle my speedo bulge "accidently." Some innocent fun could be had, like fondling, but the swimming lesson has to be emphasized.

If anyone has any ideas for me, please post them in your reply.

BTW, I'm a white male, 5'7" and I weight around 147lbs. Due to stress (I have to help take care of my dad because he suffered a stroke) and not fully recovering from food poisoning) I don't look as slim as I should. But I'm treating that problem.

of course request he be gay or bi. Sounds like you are looking to hook up more than learn to swim.

My primary interest is swimming, no interest in hooking up.

Speedoboi, in all honesty, the fact that you even mention a little "innocent fun" but that you're "not looking for sex" would lead me to ask you if you think you're being 100% honest with yourself in what you're looking for.

If you are, you'd probably be better off not mentioning a preferred sexual orientation in your ad, and not posting it in the M4M section. I'm sure Craigslist has some more sports-oriented sections where people post ads looking for coaches.

If you're serious about your sports training, separate it from your personal life. I had a similar situation in which I met another triathlete on a mobile gay dating application and I was afraid that it would impede on my training, since I'm very serious about my triathlon aspirations. I did one swim workout with him for which I was already wearing my swimsuit under my jeans when we met at a public place, and was made uncomfortable when he faced me as he stripped naked to change. We haven't done another workout together since (and communication actually completely ceased). I wouldn't want personal interests getting in the way of someone who might be a valuable training partner. So if you really are determined and focused on swimming, get a swimming coach who will help you improve your swimming and leave it at that.

My post needs a bump. I haven't received enough replies to make an informed decision.
