Hey Everyone--
I just found this board a few months ago, and bought my first set of Aussiebums about a month ago after boosting my confidence reading many posts and threads on here. I picked up a pair of the Horizon Bosterjock and a pair of the Broome Bosterjock. I also have a pair of Adidas and a set of Ninja Wonderjocks coming too. Im basically tired of wearing those aweful board shorts that I nearly drown in! I just dont know what reaction I will get.
Im a straight mid-30s & 6ft and approx 200lbs. I basically want to wear these at the beach this year if I have enough courage! Tell me honestly what you think, as Im a little larger framed than most of you. I dont have the 6 pack abs, or wear a XS size!!
My name is Rob and please feel free top post what you think. I can handle constructive criticism!! Ive shed over 30 winter lbs so far with about 10 more to go. Here are a few pics:

hey there. i'm in a similar boat with being fed up with annoying board shorts... they are great for strolling around in, but horrible for swimming. and have you tried looking into swim briefs with a slightly thicker side panel ? those look like a 2 inch side, maybe a 4 inch side would fit a bit better ? just a suggestion you might want to look into (seeing as in the end the decision is yours, and it should be based on what you feel more comfortable in/like the look of).

I agree with tiger's suggestion. You might try wider sides. Unless you have an Aussiebum physique (muscular athletic guys), Aussies can be difficult to fit. I mean they are great suits and you chose some awesome colors. They just seem to be designed for a certain body type. I'm too skinny and dont have the glutes to really wear them right.

I have to agree with the other guys on the AusB
They look good if you can pull them off, and even with some ass kick'n legs and glutes it really just depends on your shape oddly enough.
That being said, instead of the skimpier ones, try the square cut one from their collection. I'm a little closer to your build, being 6'2 and about 200lbs as well, but a little more toned, and I can toally rock the square ones but the others just sorta dont work for me lol.
Sad to say, but swimsuits in general are a trial and error affair.

I agree .. soo tired of board shorts. The other day I saw some fit guy in the lap lanes with boardies.. I was like Wow.. I like the wider sides too a much better streamlined look. - FS
