I've had good luck buying arena suits on ebay. never paid more than $35 usd including shipping.
as you found out arenas do fit more snug than the average speedo--and that's why I have more arena's than any other brand. can you say center mesh butt seam? :D :D :D

I've seen Japan Swim Shop and they have nice stuff. I'd like to get a pair of Asian jammers. They are just so awesome. But they run about US$100+.

I just bot a pair of brite red Arenas with a mesh butt seam. They fit and look great!!!! From a Singapore shop and had US sizing. Not from Japan I dont think. Possibly Thailand.

There are some cool Japan sites here where you can buy direct. But the Yen is more expensive now. I was looking at an Asics speedo-type suit that cost 6000 yen. That's nearly seventy bucks and then theres postage!!!

Hey John, I am close to buying a pair of Arena's like yours in red. They only have size L or larger. Here's my quandry, I know a S would be too small for me anyway judging from your picture. But I want to get an idea of how small yours really are. Could you possibly measure the waist of the suit when lying flat? From experience the japanese speedos I own all have waists from 10-11.5 inch waists when laid flat.

I'm trying to get something to the states by next Friday so I'll have to order soon :-/

Yep. They are about 10 inches across and 6 1/4" in height. Tiny.
