How old would you go

How old would you go
I ask this not to piss off older members on this board-just curious. I'm in my 20's and I really don't go for guys over 40. We were at a pool party today where most of the men were 60 plus. Nice looking guys in fairly good shape but being the only two in our 20's we felt like they just wanted our bodies. Not the perfect situation to wear unlined white speedos in. My question -how old of a guy would you date or have sex with?
Re: How old would you go
I dont think it really matters,as long as there is a connection, and a turn on, then go for it, age is only a number. I know several guys over 45 who are dating 21 year olds, and have seen several older guys dating much, much younger guys, and not rent boys. Its all up too the individuals, if it works fine, if not and you dont like the age difference than dont.
But if you were the only two twenty year olds, you were put there, for drooling purposes only, Token models, and nothing more. Attention getters.

Re: How old would you go
I am glad that my tastes have grown with me. In high school I couldn't see myself with someone over 20 lol. Now, at 26, I'd go 5 years up or down. I bet at 30, it will change again.
Re: How old would you go
As a 52 year old, I can say that my preference has always been for someone relatively close to my own age, so as I have grown older, my preference is for age appropriate men. Lately, I seem to be attracting a number of 'boys' looking for a daddy type, typically between 25-35. It is actually quite a turn on, so I am taking them as they cum!
Re: How old would you go
being 25, i would say i would only even consider someone if they were around my age, either a couple years below, or above. if they were more than 5 years older than me, not a chance. and same goes for being over 5 years younger than me
Re: How old would you go
Don't forget you have to factor in appearence. I'm older than you, but I've been mistaken for being as young as 20. Would you be turned off by a guy who looked your age but then you found out he was 30?Outlaw-Tiger wrote:being 25, i would say i would only even consider someone if they were around my age, either a couple years below, or above. if they were more than 5 years older than me, not a chance. and same goes for being over 5 years younger than me
Re: How old would you go
The oldest I've gone was my age plus 9 years, but he had an awesome body/personality and we never took our speedos off - so it was well worth it.
In general... yeah, 5 or 6 years difference is enough for me. Especially when you're in your 20's any older/younger people are often at different stages of their lives - doesn't work all that well long term, I think.

Re: How old would you go
You will realise that as you get older, age differences become inconsequential. My current partner of 13 years is 14 years younger than me - and all my past partners have been younger than me by anywhere from 6-10 years. When I met my current partner, age was never an issue from day one. We got along fantastically, appreciated each others sense of humour and intelligence, and looks were not then or now an issue (though neither of us is exactly ugly be any means). The longer we have been together, the more we have come to appreciate each other, and accept that neither of us is perfect and we have our bad and annoying habits - but learning to live with those is also part of what a successful relationship is. To only look at a persons age, or their exterior attributes is to not only do them a disservice but also yourself. There is a lot more to all of us than just age and looks.
Re: How old would you go
If that is you in the avatar I wouldn't care if you were a 100. Agree with you totally.
Re: How old would you go
I'm 26, and most of the guys I'm with are older, usually 30s up to 50s. I just really like the chemistry with older guys.

at this stage in my life, yes. if he was 30 i wouldn't go for him even if he looked like a 20 year old. but things change with time, so i might change my mind later on in life... but at this exact moment in time, i stand by my statement lol

I guess you have a lot of growing up to do. I used to think that way too.Outlaw-Tiger wrote:speedoboi wrote:Don't forget you have to factor in appearence. Re: How old would you go
Thanks Pete - the photo is a couple of years old, but I do look after myself - nothing to do with vanity, more about keeping fit and healthy. Speedoboi - you sound like one cool dude. You know, over many years on the gay scene I have seen endless relationships based on looks and body-types and not one single one of them is in a happy relationship if they are in one at all. I guess that says it all.
Re: How old would you go
Did you like know before you went that this was going to be just old guys? I wouldnt have gone. And you guys are models so for sure they'd think you were hot. Jeesh, a lot of those dudes were older than my father....yeep...Matt wrote: We were at a pool party today where most of the men were 60 plus.
