Clear Speedos

hey fellas,

Does anyone know anything about clear speedos?? where to get them? have you seen guys wear them? why do they do it? these are two pics i have seen out there. These guys seem to be wearing them infront of lots of people so i didnt know if it is a thing or not, but it is sexy as hell. I swam in high school and college and never saw guys wear stuff like that! would really love to know some real information....

Alot of Aussiebum's are like that. If you buy the white or blue colours the sometimes go see-through when wet.

Check for the 'Sheer Rating', the higher the sheer rating, the more see-through they go when wet.

seriously, what brand of suits are they? I want to know, they have to be cutting the lining out of them, but I want a pair, does anyone know where they got them or what brand they are????

The guy wearing the brown see-thru is a water polo player. check the web for suits sold exclusively as 'water polo' team suits.

So many brands go like that,
like the Ice Blue Aussiebums, basically are completely see-through wen wet
or the white ones as well,
id love a pair, but just for in private i think

I have a very skimpy white reebok suit which is transparent when wet.
I cut the front lining out years ago - but it really shows everything now.

I definitely wouldn't wear it at a pool tho - as it doesn't hide anything!
I occasionally wear it on relaxed local beaches as a 'joke' with mates.
I'm not shy, but there are appropriate & innappropriate situations.

I have worn other unlined suits in pools tho - never been an issue......
It's not like anyone's going to say anything!

Normal speedo's, even black ones, that have just been bleached. Have anyone done it before?

I don't think I'd be advising people to use bleach on lycra or nylon. i don't think the fabrics would handle it all that well.

I'm pretty sure its all nylon swimmers that do it. The lighter the colour the more it goes transparent when they're wet. I also find that as the colour bleaches out from the chlorine they become more transparent, even the darker colours as they fade. There are a few pics, like that 2nd one where they probably started a lot darker and they look like they have faded a lot.... and had the liner cut out. My Navy ones faded to a really light blue and went transparent, my titanium ones faded to a light grey and did the same.

In my fully fenced off back yard spa i lost a Speedo when having some fun. When i went to clean the filters two days later my speedo went from dark blue to a light transparent blue. It would cling to all my package and showed everything when wet.
