Ryke Swimwear

Post by shadowmn » Fri Apr 26, 2024 4:15 am

Does anyone have or has worn a Ryke swim brief? I just ordered my first one a few days ago and I'm anxiously awaiting delivery. It's going to take a while though because it's coming from the land down under.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

I haven't, but let us know what you think! I generally prefer from Marcuse (also from down under), so I feel the anxiety waiting for the shipments!

They seem a tad expensive but they do have some nice colours/patterns.

I have a pair. I find the material a bit too thick and rigid, prefer my suits a bit more stretchy and thinner. Nice styles and great models, but not my go to pairs.

I haven't, but for thinner & stretchy I just bought two more Box Menswear "trunks"(actually speedo style with narrow sides), the basic one, not one of the "named" styles - I cut out the lining for more "effect"!

Really like the yellow one I have.

It seems like Ryke came out of nowhere lately. Started seeing a lot of pics around with their suits. Not sure if its organic popularity or their good marketing!

They look good though.

Coming to this conversation late- I ordered two pairs of racers and love them. They ain't cheap, but the cut is fantastic. As others have said, the material is polyester and isn't nearly as thin/stretchy as nylon/lycra, but I do like the suits.

Hey guys,

I recently bought a pair of these and love them. Go down a size (compared to AussieBum).

They are expensive, will let you know in a few months if they hold up to the punishment I give them.
