I am a huge fan of Arena for my workout suits. I am pretty skinny, have chicken thighs and almost no butt. Even the Arena suits that are available here in the US are pretty high cut in the back and their leg holes are slightly smaller which really work for me. Also, they adjust the sides with the size of the suit. Meaning, they say 2.75" sides but I am a size 28 and the sides of my suit are smaller than 2.75" as they keep it proportionate to the waist size. I would bet a size 22 is probably closer to 2" or less. I also like Arena's fabric mix. This is very different from TYR and I would guess, Speedo brands. TYR definitely does not adjust the sides and as the suit gets smaller - visually the suits looks bigger... if that makes sense. The Speedo suits I have owned never lasted more than a few months because I swim in highly chlorinated pools which destroys suits....

Thank you for that information. I’ll keep that in mind, I usually wear a 30.

I like both a lot but the Arena a little more. Looks sleeker.

I also have to chime in and say that I like Arena suits better than Speedo. Like rmf said, they have briefer sides (a plus in my book) and for whatever reason the training suits I have worn from Speedo felt tight around my thighs. Like the leg holes weren't big enough? Anyway, unlike rmf I have a big ass but I still think Arena suits fit me better.

I like the Arena one the best. Sure both will look good on you, but I like the Arena one the best.

My general experience is that they are both similar but I find the fabric of Arena suits have a little more compression whereas Speedo suits have more stretch

Both suits below from Asia although it is the Arena suit that has the slightly wider hip
