Speedos/briefs/thongs around family

What’s peoples situation with family and wearing briefs/thongs/speedos around them? Do you guys have any restrictions or none? Do they care or have any preference? Just like to hear how other peoples family react to them wearing a speedo or thong or anything but board shorts.

Don't wear thongs in front of others but no reaction to speedos, however that is all I have ever worn so it no surprise to them.

Speedos are my general mode of dress if there are others around but I sometimes do wear a tanga or thong, the g-string normally doesn't see other people!

I got my first speedo after being forced to wear one of my cousin's speedo. So I started wearing them on Vacations to Hawaii and Disney at around age 11/. After I joined the swim team then I got even more comfortable wearing them after getting some Speedo Friends. In college we had a swim group and most of my friends wore them and it was no big deal. Now I really only wear them for laps, water polo practice and when I am on Vacation.

I wear Speedos around all my friends, board shorts (sadly) around family (although they do know I wear them for lap swims when I’m in town, and thongs exclusively for lap swim where I currently live. Family doesn’t know I swim in thongs, but mom did find out some of my underwear are thongs…. I still don’t know how .

I wear them in front of my wife (occasionally), but no one else. She and I have joked about how her mother, with whom we often go on vacation, would react if I whipped off board shorts at the beach to reveal a speedo. It would probably make her feel pretty uncomfortable.
