I haven't seen anyone mention this, but aussiebum has come back out with their "classic" swimwear. They have some 1.5 wonderjock and 2.5 non-wonderjock in tri-color designs. They came out with some new colors, so they're not exact to the old styles, but they look pretty similar.

Well I told myself that I wasn't going to pick up any more pairs of swimwear when winter is around the corner, but then I noticed in the last 12 hours that sizes started to go out of stock, so I placed my order. I'm interested to see how the sizing is since they said to size up specifically, but the model is 6' tall and wearing a size small, so this will be interesting. I'll attach a picture of my order and I also thought I would try one of their pairs of "trunk" underwear since their briefs have been leaving something to be desired, but I want to like them.

I didn't order the freshwater, but the other ice blue color one, and it's actually double lined in the rear, which was also the case with the white pair I ordered. It's borderline public acceptable if you have the confidence for it.

Well they did almost bring back the Portsea. They just changed the color of the blue and white stripes around, slightly changed the color of blue, and added some elastic in the waistband. Alright so maybe they didn't, but it's at least some progress in the right direction. I'm attaching a photo of both of them, and a picture of the new double-lined ice blue when it's wet so you have an idea of what it looks like.

Let us know if you like them. Generally I wear trunk style underwear. Haven't tried Aussiebum. I've found trunks/boxer-briefs usually fit me better for underwear than briefs; which is kind of odd, because speedos fit me okay. An exception is Marcuse brief underwear that fit perfect and are comfortable all day. They only have two inch sides, and I didn't think they'd stay on, but they do--even when wearing skinny jeans and bending and stooping. They have a fly, but it's just easier to pull down the waist band. I usually buy underwear without a fly, but these work okay and aren't bulky. Also, I only buy on sale. They're priced in Australian dollars, so paying in U.S.$ helps. An Australian company, but made in China. I broke my "anywhere but China" rule.

The gold fit great; like they used to. the Freshwater & Crew Noosa were way too tight (even though all the same size: S) and sent them back. So bad AB sizing is all over the place.

I've found other brands to have similar problems. I bought some N2N stuff recently, both small. But one of the smalls was more like a medium. I ordered some Marcuse underwear briefs, and the M and the S were exactly the same size. Guessing they were both small. They look like they'd fall off your butt, but they fit well and work great under tight skinny jeans.
