G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.
If you are a guest, you can only see a small portion of the forum. Members like posting their speedo selfies so I don't like that to be 100% public. However, joining is free.
If you are a new member, you need to email me your username so I can manually activate your account. This is a pain (for you and me) but it is the only way I've been able to keep the spam bots from ruining the forum. My email address is: DaveEvans@SpeedoFetish.com
This forum is free and I don't allow any advertising (except my own sites), if you would like to donate please click the link above, all donations go towards the hosting and maintenance of the forum for everyone to enjoy.

I guess we need Jace and his multiple aliases to come back. LOL yeah right. Seriously there's got to be numerous reasons. Mine would be that I've found many Facebook groups that have more activity per hour than this group sees in a week. The photos are all the same.
I still enjoy this group and appreciate the members especially the photos!

Which groups? I would love to join them.swimmy wrote: ↑Thu Oct 29, 2020 11:48 amI guess we need Jace and his multiple aliases to come back. LOL yeah right. I visit almost daily, but don't always comment... I'll try to do better!
I agree a "Like" button might be an easy way to show engagement in the forum.
Thanks to those who post regularly... especially the pics!

I have been digging in the speedo mines and have posted a variety of pics today, some of myself, I hope it encourages others to respond, interact and post their own pctures.

Re: Has forum interest declined
I guess a lot of people aren't speedoing at the moment and probably that affects their interest in posting. I think a like button is a great idea, most other types of forum have them. Maybe it isn't possible on this platform.
Right now all the content is viewable without needing to log in. If some areas- photo forum for example- went back to being members only it may drive up membership as casual viewers could join to see "What is over the fence".
For myself I've been busy supporting my partner for a few weeks and so haven't posted. I find I post on fits and starts anyway, I also find vowing to post more frequently is the kiss of death with me, as it usually triggers me being too busy to post!

I am sorry I haven't been as active as I was earlier. But I do read the posts on this forum on a daily basis.
I will try my very best to contribute to this lovely community!

speedoboi there are dozens of hundreds of male fetish groups on facebook. Use the search feature, the keyword "speedo" obviously would be a good start. Some groups are all about leather pants. Some great ones like Videoboy feature beautiful young men in various activities. Other groups for old gay men are popular. They have great discussion about anything imaginable and have helped me figure out my gay side at an older age. Of course there assholes and mean trolls but I block them, don't need their crap.
You know when you use Facebook it starts figuring out what you like and suggests more. That aspect is nonstop.
If you participate you make "friends" and then it goes nuts. There is no minimum dress code in the messenger side of that if you like pics of cock and all the things we do with cock. LOL.
Facebook makes it so easy to share photos.
Some of our members here on facebook, it's not hard to recognize them. You don't have to use your actual personal account, everybody has an alias one, don't they?
Most forums like this one also have Facebook groups.

Good points. Well, one thing forum/bulletin boards like this need is a "like" button, or a "recommend" button, or something. Heck, the freakin NY Times even has a recommend button! The only way you can "like" something here is to post a reply, And yeah, all the content is viewable, so what's the incentive for people to join?

I write just few post because I'm lazy and I don't speak English. HEH.
But i think, forum is a little bit old format for communication. I always think is better for creating community,
but facebook or instagram is so popular, but for me is too much ?individual?, dont create nice community for sharing
as forum.
For example, I'm not very interested in photos from the net, that's everywhere today. I like real photos of members more...

I think it's a double wammy of not being able to get out in speedos as much, but also working and living from home is cramping peoples style - with not as much opportunity for play time with everyone around all the time!
Re: Has forum interest declined
I think it’s everything people have said...
Winter in northern hemisphere (too cold!)
COVID (too sick)
Recycled model/photoshop porn (too boring)
“Old” message board format (Instagram? Flickr?)

I think the site uses the php platform which in my limited understanding is an older generation of system. I expect that limits what you can do with it. I like how I can be very explicit on here about my sexual urges. If the forum moved to a Facebook group I wouldn't participate incase stuff accidentally bled across into my normal Facebook feed that my Mum and my cousins can see. I'm happy to overshare on here but not on other forums!

I agree with the reasons above but does still not excuse 500 views of a picture and not one comment.

The trick to using Facebook is to have an alias.
As for comments on photos, I prefer there aren't any, photo threads should just be photos, not a bunch of babble to have to scroll through to get to the next photo.
A thumbs up button would suffice for photo threads.

I’m looking forward to life on the other side of this pandemic. I lost my job earlier in the year, but the silver lining has been that I got a new, better paying, and more active job as a result. I’m hoping when I get back to speedos I’ll feel great wearing them with the ~15 lbs I’ve lost so far.speedostud wrote: ↑Thu Nov 05, 2020 7:24 amI think it's a double wammy of not being able to get out in speedos as much, but also working and living from home is cramping peoples style - with not as much opportunity for play time with everyone around all the time!

Great news. I lost my job end of October. But I am now caring for a family member. I desperately want to get back to work but not happening.zaps wrote:I’m looking forward to life on the other side of this pandemic. Hope the new job works out and keep us updated with how the weight loss is going. Can’t wait to see you in those Speedos.

Still around, though I haven't posted in quite a while. I'll have to try to be less of a lurker and more of a participant.
