A local one to me is opening up after a Christmas break with a 'mega naked day', so obviously taking myself and a friend for the afternoon to see what happens and hopefully some hot, guy action.

Hi guys,

Has anyone here ever been to, or frequently visit a gay sauna?

There's one in the city a few miles from me that I've always wanted to try out but never quite mustered up the courage to go.

Anyone been? What can I expect?

In answer to the original post, just go for it. I went to one yesterday, for their reopening after Christmas, with a mega naked day. Guys of all ages shapes and sizes wandering around. Some you wouldn’t look at twice, but what’s not to like when you enter a steam room, to see sweaty guys on their knees, sucking and fondeling everyone else and immediately having them decend on you like a pack of hungry hyenas! Wow! Awesome!

I used to frequent a few saunas around London (plus one in Cardiff). They can be a lot of fun and are actually a nice place to relax too.
You can do as much or as little as you like. I’ve never found anyone to be rude or pushy. I

There’s been some great memories from them. Have never worn a speedo at one, didn’t want to stick out too much. But if you like the attention I’m sure it’d be great

Saunas obviously not open at moment due to covid-19. I believe they fall under legislation regulating patronage of bars and clubs, etc.

I used to go to two gay steams in my area regularly, both of which only have steam room, no dry sauna.

I usually went there hoping for a good hook up but it's often a hit and miss. It's either the club is so quiet, or it's busy but everyone is either out of my league or does not interest me.

I wore my speedos there a couple times but the guys there were only interested in what's inside of the speedos. They didn't utilize and had fun with them. Hopefully that will change.

The gay steams in my area are now closed because of the pandemic. I believe it's gonna be busy and become a fuck fest every day when they reopen. LOL

Prior to covid-19, I went to sauna, but only to socialise and see the eye candy walk by. I guess I'm just lazy or naïve. The guys who are looking for more certainly seem to find it.

I have been to a gay saunas in Sydney and around North America while travelling for work - one of these days I'd like to check out a few in the UK or Europe. I like that it's easy to see what you're getting. using an app for a hook-up is a pain, there are too many trolls not really looking to meet.

As mentioned above, it can be hit or miss, but also lots of fun. I like that you can just be who you want for the time you are there - I've definitely done some things I never thought I would, it helped me to lose my inhibitions.

My fav is Bodyline in Sydney, Australia - lots of hot guys, and there are open showers, hot tubs, a maze where you can bump into guys in a quiet corner, and a big dark steamroom that is loads of fun. I'm getting a boner thinking about it.
