Carioca Swim Wear

I like their breifs, especially this one, but it's so expensive.

Here's the link: https://cariocawear.com/collections/bri ... mming-suit

Has anyone ever purchased this brand?

Years ago, Carioca was my favorite. I still like them, but there are issues:

1. Prices got astronomical. Get on their email list. Even their sale prices are high, but occasionally they have a good clearance or discount.

2. The sizing is inconsistent sometimes. I have a Low-Rise Small from a few years ago that fits nice. So that's what I bought again. But the newer one is cut noticeably smaller in side-by-side comparison.

3. The cut is weird. My impression is that in going from Traditional to Classic to Low-Rise to Brief, they just lowered the waistline instead of raising the leg opening. For me, I couldn't wear the Brief. Even though it fit perfect in the waist, it was too low to cover everything front or back. I returned it. Through trial-and-error, I found the Low-Rise Small or Classic XS work with my body type. ... I don't understand why the "brief" cut looks great on their models but doesn't cover me. Maybe in M/L sizes, it is less of an issue.

4. I don't like their "superfit" fabric. The standard lycra material is much better imo.

PROS: They are super comfortable. The quality of construction is really good. And I think their classic "sunga" style is hot.

They're on sale at USD50.00

I don't know if I will still purchase them. Finances are tight as a result of COVID-19

I've always wanted to try these. I just bought 3 pair at $30 each. The True Blue bikini and brief, and the Gipioa brief. Unfortunately they sent 2 True Blue bikinis, but they are exchanging 1 for the Eden Green and Grey. I haven't worn them beyond trying them on, but they fit good and feel comfortable. The bikini is very low and fit very similar to Sporti Euros (only thicker material) or Turbos Polo (about the same thickness). The brief fits similar to any non-nylon Aussiebums, such as their Swish.

ExBex, what's your profile suit? That's a hot one on a buff bod! Maybe more pix in it?

I've got the gold Daredevil, but not the bod to make it work. Like that orangish color more, that you've got!

Sadly, they-re back to their regular, EXPENSIVE price.

Regular price is a rip! I picked up the Geo print in the Low-Rise for $15 during the summer sale. There are sometimes good deals!: https://cariocawear.com/collections/sale/products/gio

Be patient and I think you'll eventually see your suit closer to $30.

I have a True Blue in low-rise. Love that color!

Hey guys,

I can't get over how expensive some brands of speedos are these days. I love the look of the Aronik ones as well but no way I'm paying that kind of money for a speedo that might not fit great.

This Ca-Rio-Ca speedos had a bit of a following because they were in some great speedo porn movies. My favourite featured a guy wearing a red pair of them working on his tan and another young guy enters the frame and rubs him down and then sucks the guy off.

That movie is available on my site www.SpeedoFetish.com if you are interested (I'll put it in the Free Downloads page in my next update tomorrow).

I agree. Been waiting for a sale and signed up with them in November hoping for a Black Friday sale, and it happened. In addition to the Ca-Rio-Cas, I picked up an Aronik suit on Black Friday for 50% off, which came to $44. I haven't had a chance to try it out beyond trying it on, but it seems comfortable and is a good cut I think, and arrived very well packaged. But not enough for $88. I bought this one:

When I get to feeling more like myself, I'll post some pics.

What do you think of your new Aronik swimsuit? I find them to not have enough room in the pouch to keep my manhood from being too bunched up.

I have not had a chance to wear them beyond trying them on. But even at that, I am not impressed for the price. Glad I got them at half off. I'd say the Ca-Rio-Ca was a better buy, if you can catch a sale, and prefer a thicker suit.

I just placed my order today. They were on sale, US$30 less. I did the 4 equal payments. I selected shipping via USPS. It was still at $19! Fedex would have been almost $50, but I wasn't in that much of a hurry.
