Should Speedos Be Banned?!

I have mixed feelings about the way modern girls dress. Take Kim Kardashian, for example. She doesn't actually EVER seem to wear real clothes - just odd combinations of lingerie and skin-tight, camel-toe-baring pants. I'm sure the straight guys love it, and she's a beautiful woman to be sure.

I’m a straight man but I don’t think Kim Kardashian is good looking. Mostly due to her oversized fake butt. I realize it’s all the rage but I don’t understand in the least what women or men find attractive about an oversized butt on a woman or a man for that matter. Yet it seems that every woman posting fitness photos is trying to show off her big butt. To me beauty is in symmetry and proportions. Anything out of proportion looks out of place whether that be butts or breasts or biceps.

I'm with you, BJE. I don't get the giant ass as sexy thing. I prefer a woman a rear more like Kate Hudson, small and tight, and in proportion to the rest of her body.

I don't really have a problem with Miss Kardashian's big rump. I only mention her as she's held up as an ideal of feminine beauty in mass culture. I don't really like plastic surgery, though, especially on women's faces. I think many female celebs who have had surgery actually looked fine before, and probably better. Can't see what's wrong with a very beautiful women who looks her age ...

I didn't know Kim K's butt was enhanced. That's taking things too far I think. With so much gorgeous make-up, hair, clothes, etc, again, I don't know why surgery's necessary. I don't think it's morally wrong - just not a very creative way to look great.

Having said that, Scott Morrison looks AWFUL in his speedos. Tony Abbot at least looked fit.

He looks the same as he would in shorts though.
Don't blame the Speedos.

Honestly, I think even obese men look better in speedos than they do in big pairs of shorts that drape on them like those fabric surrounds that magicians use to obscure the Houdini water torture escape tanks.

They come in all different shapes and sizes, and this should be celebrated. This should not be shrouded away in a veil of mystery. The human body is an amazing machine and it should be admired and celebrated for all its different forms and variations.
