Seattle Speedo Pools

Post by speedostud » Mon Oct 28, 2019 8:02 am

Hey all, in a hotel in Seattle all week. Wondering if anyone knows of a few good pools to check out? I have a pool in my hotel, but it's not really big enough for laps. Thinking of checking out the U of W pool one day, although it's a bit far from downtown where I am staying.

Take the light rail.... from downtown the "U" is maybe 10 minutes... then a quick walk from the station to the pool.
There is also a Y right downtown... never been to the pool, but I'm sure it's good for laps.

Ended up swimming most of the week at the U of W pool. I was staying downtown, but working at U of W, so the location was convenient. I was surprised at the amount of speedos, more jammers than briefs, but not many swim shorts. Definitely lots of hotties too.

Is that pool open to the public? I thought it was only for students/employees of the university.

Many university pools have lap swim time open to the public, even the possibly ultimate Univ. pool, the IUPUI pool in Indianapolis, site of many Olympic trials. I was delighted to find out I could pay the daily fee and walk in.

And yes, hotties by any definition all over the place. :)
