Speedo Sunday?

Has anyone ever heard of Speedo Sunday? I've seen hashtags of SpeedoSunday and references to it, but I don't know who or what started it.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

It was an annual gathering at Tybee Island, Ga until 2017..the organizer got killed in 2016, and from what I gather, has not continued since.

I’ve always wanted to organize a group meet-up, but never had any interest from any one.

A few folks I know do "Caturday" at the Jersey shore -- cat, tiger, lion, etc print speedo gatherings on Saturdays.

The problem with a forum like this is everyone is spread all over the place and it can be hard to organise due to work patterns, family commitments, and distance.
Great idea but not always practical.
