Speedo Weather

Post by swimsharkau » Tue Jan 22, 2019 12:30 am

A question for everyone across both Hemispheres, how's the weather?
It's 41 degrees here today (Victoria, Australia) and will be 45 again on Friday (113 Fahrenheit for people up north).
What is it where you live? And what does it mean for your speedo wearing?

I am near Birmingham in the UK. At the moment it’s a cool 2DegC. It was a hard frost last night.
I lounge round the house in my speedo with the central heating on a toasty 20DegC. Would even consider going outside in it. .

Yes about 4C in London too at the moment.

I'm still going to the open-air pool near my home. The pool is lovely and heated, just a pity the walk to and from the changing room isn't :(

Sod that wetman. I wouldn’t fancy the walk back in wet Speedos.

Well when I say walk, on the way back it's more of a brisk trot ....

Yeah, not exactly Speedo weather here in the southern part of the USA, either.

It is a brisk 8C (47F) today at mid-day.

I'm not wearing Speedo's outside until it warms up a bit, though my hot tub has a strict no textiles policy and it is outside. So getting in and out of the hot tub can be a bit lively from time to time.

About up to -5° C in most parts of Central Europe is not that cold as in Russia or Canada, but wearing a speedo outside I wouldn't recommend. But there are enough indoor-pools available where you can wear them.

The Weather here in Orlando was 75 degrees. It was warm enough to go to the beach in a speedo and is most of the year. Today I did my daily laps in my 2" blue brief.
