I have 30+ suits. I'm thinking about selling some. Some I've never worn either.

Why count, good collections are worth adding too, and speedos are such a good item to collect.

Texas, if you feel comfortable, please PM me, and maybe we can make a deal on some of your suits...although, I will never match the style in them as you!
Let's keep it brief.

Snowbrief, I love your avatar pic. You can’t beat a pair of Adidas briefs.

Oh I would need to rummage through and decide which ones I don't want. I wear a small or 30inch waist. Not sure if that is an issue?

One can never have too much spandex in the closet and drawers.

That includes swim suits, speedos, and whatever.

Too much is never enough.

I agree. I tend to go for speedos tho. Take less room then shorts.
But then again I have 2 drawers and the bottom of 2 wardrobes filled with shorts. Lol.

When someone says you have too many speedos,

just tell them to hush up,

"I don't need that kind of negativity in my life!"

I would say to them “your right I have to many in that draw, let’s empty another drawer.“

If you have your shorts tailored down from however long to 4" to 5" inseams, the space they'll save will give you more room for swim gear. Plus you'll have the added advantage of reducing or eliminating something like this:

All my shorts are 5” or less.

I have seen people at the beaches in Mewquay with tans like that. They look like a brown colour chart. They start off as pale white to coffee. 😂

I have 68 swim briefs and thongs. I just inventoried them. Twenty three different brands. The brands that I own the most of though are: Andrew Christian (10), N2N Bodywear (10), AussieBum (8), Olaf Benz (7), Jaked (5), Bikkembergs (4), and Marcuse (4).

My favorite to train in are Speedo solars. Current favorite color is the heather grey:

Great pics. I have heard of Bikkembergs and always wondered what they are like to wear?

They (the Bikkembergs) are just like any other brand. I guess you pay for the name brand.

I tried the purple ones on. They are kind of thick in terms of the fabric that they are made of, but I like them overall:

Here are my favorites, a pair of white Armani swim briefs with their red logo superimposed on the front:

Incidentally, I found a shoebox that I though was full of underwear, but it turned out to be speedos. So, now I own closer to 85 pair.

Can't be too many.

Im not into fancy underwear, don't even wear it.
But "Speedos" are great and functional, nobody sees you in underwear besides gay underwear parties.

Unfortunately swimwear design is extremely lacking. A lot of good design goes into underwear cuts but most swimwear just seems to slap down two random triangles and stitch together.
Or is designed to pretend males are eunuchs.

Even Australian stores seem to be trying to kill off the 1.5 inch side for 3 inch Speedo(TM) and only sell black and dark navy.
Like they are intentionally working to eliminate. When Red 5cm come into stock they sellout fast but they never restock.

I watch the China sites for interesting developments.

I completely agree with you. But I am ok with the 2-2.5” sides.
But the colour palette not just for swim trunks, but for shorts seems to be black or navy. Women seem to get better colours and designs.
Speedo have some nice colours at the moment for its swim brief as do Arena, Turbo, Aussiebum, Funky Trunks, amd TYR. Unfortunately Adidas seem to be letting the side down. I had some nice trunks over the last few years but they seem to be going back wards.
Perhaps its to do with the America market and Adidas can’t see the point in producing more colour choices.
As for the fit, I like Adidas they fit and feel great. The problem is not the briefs but this fat lump I try and squeeze into them. Lol.

Australian Speedo(TM) doesn't have the fancy design range, just one with a jelly blubber on it.

And nowhere local really sells Arena and stuff.

I'm pretty sure someone in management has a hatred for bulges and wants to prevent anything but black being on the shelves.

Yes, what is Speedo doing... it’s a shame to see a great company drop what got them there... these 3 inch wide plus suits and basic colors have got to go. I have some original 1.5 Lycra and Endurance great speedos and find any replacements. I had a lead on 5cm briefs endurance and now Speedo Aus has stopped most of those too.
The only brief speedo sales that narrow side is the Solar and that has seams in it. The new one brief changed in 2016 from 2 inch wide to 2.75 inch wide. For that matter TYR I can’t find any of their brief new under 4 inches. I have 3 that are narrow sides and again can’t replace them.

I am glad someone else is finding what I am seeing.

Yeah dafuk is this cut they are pushing?

Image

Who is asking for that?
The only reason you do that is because you hate men in Speedos and want to revert to the 1940's era of modesty.

They aren't even the euro square cut. It's just really high waist extention trying to reach bellybutton.
