Brave Person Swim Briefs

Post by Texas_swimmer » Tue Dec 18, 2018 5:37 pm

I saw some Brave Person swim briefs on Amazon. They arent expensive and have good reviews. I wanted to share to let everyone know. If I buy any I will let y'all know how I like/dislike them. I saw a guy wearing one at the beach this past summer which is why I was interested in the brand. Also Im tired of paying 35+ dollars on a swim brief... Should be cheaper to buy a smaller suit with less fabric but I guess the number of suits sold doesnt justify the price or they know us guys that want them will pay anyways.

I like all of the colors but the yellow I would need to tan to wear.

I've never had any of their swimwear, but I have a few of their singlets. They're super comfy, but hopefully the material of the swim briefs is a little bit thicker, lol.
Just a straight guy who likes speedos...

I love my Brave Person swim briefs (at least that's what Amazon called them) such thin, silky material - no thicker than the singlets. Would never be brave enough to wear them to the beach or pool though.

Aww, come on. Just get out there and do it. Wear two of them if you think you need more coverage because the material is thin.

News flash, it doesn't matter how thick the material is, you are covered where you need to be. Now sack up and go to the pool in your Brave Person briefs. LoL!!!

I really dislike the trend of putting the drawstring to the side. just looks so off. I get why kinda, but it looks so weird.

This is my Brave Person swim brief that I bought on Amazon. It’s the same one you link to but in red.

I love it. However I keep the strings tucked in because I don’t like the look of them hanging out the side.

BJE, the second one is a Sporti, not Brave Person, correct? Or is there something I'm missing?

The suit I'm wearing in my avatar has the side tie. I didn't like it at first, but given the quality of the suit, and that there's not excessive string to try to hide, I quickly got used to it.

You were correct. I posted the wrong picture. I have now corrected my error.
