I know this is really weird, but...

Does anyone else enjoy the smell of their speedos after a swim? So after I swim, I rinse off my suit in the shower and use a small amount of soap to wash them. The result is a suit that still smells slightly of chlorine and also the soap smell from the gym shower. When I get home, I hang them up in the bathroom to dry...and I always smell them! (When I put them up and when I take them down.) It makes me happy, like swimming nostalgia or something. Looking back and looking forward to my next swim. I always think to myself, "this is strange, and if anyone sees you doing this you will never live it down". But it never stops me. Just wondering if anyone else does the same???

I agree with you that IS weird. I definitely have done it before but it was to see whether the chlorine smell still there after washing it and how bad is the smell but nothing past that point.

I wash mine with soap in the gym shower. I then smell them to see if they smell like chlorine. I don’t smell them for the joy of it.

I smell the chlorine in mine also, but just to smell how much chlorine is in them though.

Have grown up on the smell of chlorine two times a day.The smell lingers in my hair,on my body and in my clothes.

Same, but I don't swim as much as you. Although I smell like a pool and seemingly sweat chlorine, I always feel cleaner. I also love what it does to my hair and how when its wet I can just shake it out and crush it down and it just looks good.

Hmmmm. I'm just trying to imagine this ...:::sam:::... . 8) I had a dachshund who used to do something like this after we gave him a bath. He'd also run out in the yard and roll in the grass.

Totally not weird, at least to me. XD. The smell of a brand new Speedo, the smell of chlorine on Lycra and strangely even the smell of a latex swimming cap is a massive turn on 😈💓.

Not weird at all. Some of the swim message boards talk about the pool-chlorine smell being the "perfume" of swimmers.
