Disappointing new speedos

Post by BJE » Mon Feb 26, 2018 5:39 pm

I received an order today from swimoutlet of two Speedo Solars and a Suavage Freestyle Swimmer. I ordered the Solars in size 32. My usual size for Solars. However I haven’t bought one in several years and they have changed. One is red and it’s fully lined. It’s very thick and bulky yet the back is not as full as my old ones. It shows more in the back than I like to show. The same goes for the marine green stripped one I got except that it is only lined in the front so it feels much better. I’m debating whether to keep it. The red one is going back. The Solars have printed on the tag the words PowerFLEX Eco. I don’t know that that supposed to mean.

The third suit, the Suavage Freestyle Swimmer has in its description that it is tight fitting. I ordered medium which is supposed to be 30-32. That size should be rather snug on me. However, it’s baggy on me. If I pull it up really high then I can get the saggy baggy rear to tighten up but it looks silly pulled up that high. It’s going back. I thought about ordering it in a small but the cloth isn’t to my liking. There’s not much stretch, or cling for that matter.

I have some suits by Taddlee and Brave Person arriving tomorrow from amazon. I will report how they fit.

Eventually I’ll be receiving a couple of Aussiebums that I’m really hoping work out well.

Sorry to hear that. One reason I don’t particularly like buying clothes via the internet. It’s a gamble. Good luck with the other ones.

Just use their online return program, send them back, they will credit you the price and give free shipping on the next order. Also share this sizing info on the product's review page so the next guy doesn't have the same problem. Swimoutlet is great to deal with, this will all work out fine.

I ordered them with free shipping and they have cheap return shipping. That’s why I like to order from them.

I have to order online because the only stores that carry them locally are sporting goods stores which only vary wide side black and dark blue.

Good luck! I have experienced this issue several times but mostly on fake or made in china ones ... they tend to be way to small
