I had a lighter material kilt made since I sing at summer wedding and I also have a heavy traditional one with the sporran.
I should buy a kilt for special occasions. My great great grandfather came to America from Scotland.

Yes definitely. If I am in close proximity to families, I try to stick with suits that are more recreational brands such as Tyr or Speedo. I usually don’t wear anything too crazy anyways, but during my trip to Aruba, I did wear my Sporti Euro and Aussiebum Azure 1.5 with the AB logo on the butt. My next trip to Aruba will be no different. I felt like I could have worn anything there without feeling self conscious.
I put the Sporti Euro in the same category as a Tyr or Speedo. They are all serious swim suits rather than fashion wear.

It was a month after I met my boyfriend when I learned he owned pants. I'd only seen him in a kilt. We both wear them when hiking (Mountain Hardware hiking kilts) and I sometimes wear one of his for other occasions. But I'd never swim in a kilt.

Scottie....I have friends in Nova Scotia. Maybe I should buy a Nova Scotia tartan kilt and wear a Canadian Olympics speedo underneath. So....North American. My Nova Scotia tartan tie was eaten by moths.... :-(
