G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.
If you are a guest, you can only see a small portion of the forum. Members like posting their speedo selfies so I don't like that to be 100% public. However, joining is free.
If you are a new member, you need to email me your username so I can manually activate your account. This is a pain (for you and me) but it is the only way I've been able to keep the spam bots from ruining the forum. My email address is: DaveEvans@SpeedoFetish.com
This forum is free and I don't allow any advertising (except my own sites), if you would like to donate please click the link above, all donations go towards the hosting and maintenance of the forum for everyone to enjoy.

I heard the paper suits, by modern standards, didn't help hydrodynamics much. Were these the suits that weren't permeable? I remember Janet Evans trying and rejecting them, saying, "You, like, carry 5lbs. of water with you."
Re: Speedos back in college swimming
They were very thin and didn't have much stretch. They were worn very tight. At least the pair I had didn't absorb any water to speak of.

Re: Speedos back in college swimming
If I could make the rules for swim competitions only skimpy briefs would be allowed at any level of competition. This would minimize any effect the suit would have on performance making it a competition of swimmers instead of a competition of swimsuit manufacturers.
Re: Speedos back in college swimming
In the original Olympics the Greeks participated naked. I wouldn't mind seeing that again. It would definitely avoid any advantages offered by the swim suit materials and make it man vs man as opposed to man vs science and technology.

If mens leap frogging was an Olympic event back in Greece, Jace and Scott would have been disqualified for not jumping high enough. Lol.
I couldn't find a picture of leap frog with naked people. Lol.
