G'day Guys,

Posting pictures
Is anyone else having problems posting pictures?
I have posted plenty in the past, but now when I try to preview or submit the picture disappears although the text is posted.
I usually use camera/laptop but tried my phone with same result. It also does not matter whether it is my own picture or a downloaded one

Scottie,
Seems to be working for me but I'll keep an eye on this post to see if anyone else is having troubles.

Re: Posting pictures
Hi Dave. I have only been able to post old pictures that have been on my laptop for awhile. I have not been able to post ANY new pictures that I have taken on my phone & uploaded to my laptop... Laptop is Windows 7, & I have tried Internet Explorer and Chrome. No errors indicate why the pictures do not post. I have tried selecting from the attachment tab & dragging & dropping. The name of the file appears in the attachment file with only the "Delete" button. If I Submit the post, the picture does NOT show up in the post...

Re: Posting pictures
Electric, tried posting an old pic (not speedo) and it worked! When I try Explorer it gives me the oversize message even though they have been resized. Pity as I have some of me in the garden in blue Arenas

Re: Posting pictures
Managed to post a few pics today. I noticed that after adding the file for uploading, there is a white box 'Delete file' if this is the only box then the file will not upload, however if the white box 'Place inline' is also there then the pic will post. No idea how this works but still cannot post my Arena pictures!

Dave, apart from electric and I, I noticed someone else (I cannot find now!) saying he was unable to post as well.

Re: Posting pictures
I noticed a different procedure, as well. There does seem to be an extra step to go through
Re: Posting pictures
I've tried as well and cannot attach any pictures....and I had some goooood stuff too!! lol
Re: Posting pictures
OK, I'm just playing around with this and I've noticed a couple of things: FIRST, if you type a QUICK REPLY comment in the field at the bottom it doesn't look like you are able to post pics. You have to either do a formal POST REPLY (the button at the top) or quote a previous comment to get the tools for posting pics.
SECOND, has anyone tried to drag and drop the picture file onto the blank space in the text box below the comment you are typing? It looks like this new tool makes posting pics a lot easier. If it all works that is...
Underneath the text box that you type your comment, select ATTACHMENTS and either manually search/enter the location of your picture file, or better yet, drag and drop the picture file directly onto the text box you are typing in and it will give you option buttons at the bottom to PLACE INLINE or DELETE FILE. So far, I have had success posting 3 pics this way including the two below. As always, make sure the picture sizes are not wider than 800 pixels or they won't post no matter what.

Re: Posting pictures
I have been able to drag pic's. However, still can't post any pic's taken on my phone. All of the pic's that I have tried to post are much less than 800 pixels wide. Still need the guru to solve this...
