Strings In or Out
What does everyone prefer? Drawstrings in or out of your suit? I usually keep mine in.
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.
Re: Strings In or Out
Strings in unless they are on the outside of the suit.

Re: Strings In or Out
I keep my strings in. I only own one suit with string outside.
Love speedos, running shorts, rugby shorts, Aussie rules footy shorts.

Re: Strings In or Out
Either, and sometimes both.
Re: Strings In or Out
Definitely string in. I have a hard time buying any suits with strings out. I have been looking for a particular style suit for months now and I just can't seem to find the right one. A lot of them have the strings out and while it's not so much because of the string, it has to be the right color and not stand out from the suit.... which I guess is why it is taking me so long to find the right suit....

Like FL said, in unless the cords are on the outside. However, if your just relaxing and their just loosely untied hanging down is pretty cool...

Mostly in, although wearing them out seems to work with AB suits.

Re: Strings In or Out
I actually prefer suits that have drawstrings on the outside. I think it shows concern that your suit won't come off, especially if you're around families with kids, and that I'm not just strutting to show my stuff. Idk, my reasoning anyways!
wearing what I want, where I want, when I want...no exceptions!
Re: Strings In or Out
Always out. It's like an accessory to the waistline, what a bowtie is to the neck. Plus my wife likes to spontaneously grab a string end and pull. I don't know why. Uh huh.

Re: Strings In or Out
I am not a fan of exposed strings. Just my preference.
Re: Strings In or Out
In, in, in. A few of the many, many reasons I love speedos so much is that they're sleek, they're tight, they're compact and elegant, and they slip through the water with zero drag. Letting the strings hang out of the suit is counter to all of that and it just looks sloppy. But I understand the motivation, some men. even straight men, let them hang out because it makes the suit look like it's loosened up and ready to be slipped or even pulled off at any time.
My motivation is I want my suit to be tied on TIGHT so that it never slips off, even when diving into rough surf. Speedos are so fucking awesome in that regard.

Re: Strings In or Out
I generally remove the inner strings from my suits as they aren't really needed.
I have a couple of suits which have strings on the outside.
I tie these in a half loop which results in one string hanging down near my package.
I like this look as I feel it draws one's eye to the most important area of the suit....
