2" sides... bah, that's nothing. Go for it. You'll wish you went to a 2" side sooner!
Just a straight guy that enjoys wearing speedos. Life is too short, enjoy wearing what you want.

well, I have been swimming in them lately. Mostly when I travel. I love the way they feel. When i jump out of the pool they are all tiny feeling
I wish I'd of snapped a pic of them riding up my ass when I got out of the pool lol

Absolutely have no fear about wearing them. I started lap swimming a few months ago, and I won't swim in anything but a speedo!
