Does anyone know the best way to fix this? Seems to happen sometimes after putting a speedo through the wash. Super annoying!

I hand wash and line dry all my Speedos.
Check My Collection in Photos ... always adding new pictures! Fletch.

I tie the string in a big knot before washing.

Pin one end of the string with a "safety pin" and then you should be able to re-thread it working it through gradually.

Yeah me too, Like Fbanks I do a lot of speedo handwashing but if it is a polyester type suit like Speedo Endurance then I'll put them in the machine on a gentle cycle.
