I am new here, hello from Pennsylvania! :)

Good day everyone! It is nice to see others who enjoys Speedos by being apart of this forum.
I am Matt, a 35 year old straight male who is proud of wearing Speedos by breaking the conventional norms of swimwear.

It all began during my first trip with my fiancée to Miami, Florida in 2007. I decided to mark the occasion by wearing my first Speedo ever in South Beach. I got so much
encouragement because she wanted to help me get over my self consciousness. I used to wear tons of baggy clothes most of my life. I decided to put all that behind me by taking more pride in my appearance and body. Ever since that vacation, I have been hooked on Speedos and never looked back. That major confidence boost led me to better my life more ways than one.

Today, I own a bunch of Solar Speedos, Joe Snyder bikinis, and thongs I wear in place of my old trunks and boxers. I figure "why not" show off my body and all of the hard work I put into it! I wear them because I choose not to conform to the majority, to be more unique, and motivate myself to keep on the ball all things fitness!

I look forward in getting to know you guys!

Thank you Mitch! That was the first Joe Snyder bikini I ever purchased, that is my second favorite next to the Speedo brand.
The manscaping comes from continuous exercising and clean eating, not to mention not giving in to sweet cravings too! (laughs)
I just now got back into swimming so I can chisel out even more.

Thanks Frankjath! I will post more shots as I am in full swing of "Speedo Season", as I exercising more during the warm weather.
That story was my wake up call to take better care of myself and to be more confident in my own skin, considering I was raised around a ultra conservative enviroment that didn't allow me to do so. I love thongs because they are quite comfortable, even when I wear my skinny jeans and compression pants when I exercise. the range of movement I get is unreal!

One thing you'll find is that our community is all super supportive of each other and tolerant. I think I was the first straight guy to join several years ago and since then many more straight guys have joined proving that speedos are loved by men - all men - of any and all persuasions, provided they are men of refined and discriminating taste in swimwear!

Well said Diveguy! Thanks for your compliments on my story, I don't agree with how society looks at men who wear Speedos, especially here in the US. I thrive on challenging all of those stereotypes of what men wear; when it comes to Speedos, and fitness related compression pants and tights; which I am proud of showing off evetything by keeping it tight! I find myself quite comfortable here, because I always come as I am, have a mind of an open book. In return, giving back, paying it forward, encouraging others, and giving into unity regardless of sexual orientation, color, religion, and race.

Here is a picture of myself from October 2011, after an ocean swim in the Gulf of Mexico (Dunedin, Florida). Photographed by my lovely fiancée, she captured the liberated feeling I was experiencing. I have reached my my personal nirvana, proving that I no longer was self conscious about my body; unlike the majority of my family who are the polar opposite. By wearing Speedos, it is one of the biggest confidence boost I will ever get. It changed my life!

Thanks Snowbrief! It was a major jump that changed the way I take care of myself. Because I didn't grow up eating healthy or exercising. As long as a wear a Speedo, I must keep on the ball with swimming and running!
