G'day Guys,
Welcome to the Speedo Forum.

Haha I'm seeing it this afternoon! I'll let you guys know how it is!
Re: "The Red Speedo" - NY Times on New Play
Sounds like great effort was made to physically portray a swimmer but in the photo shown in the article the actor's build is far, far, far, from that of a swimmer. You just don't see it on anyone who hasn't actually been on a swim team and put in many a lap during his teen years, when his body is becoming what it will be.
Re: "The Red Speedo" - NY Times on New Play
Well my verdict is that yes he doesn't have the right build for a swimmer- I think it's mostly the las of a but and chicken legs combined with the wrong arm muscle definition- but to me that didn't really ruin the play! Over all I thought it was an enjoyable play with good acting portraying the relationship between an up and coming swimmer and his brother dealing with their past questionable choices and how to go forward. If you have the chance to see it before it closes April 3rd I would recommend!
