German vacation

Post by GRSwimmer » Wed Jul 09, 2014 3:50 am

My wife and I are headed to Germany, along with my brother-in-law, this coming Monday. I've wanted to visit since I was 9, when my 4th grade teacher started teaching us some German. Took 3 years in High School, but didn't take the Senior trip.

But I digress.

I'm packing my swim briefs with the hope of going for a swim at a Scwimmbad oder ein Freibad at some point. I'll be in Bavaria, around Wurzburg.

If I wanted to buy a brief as a souvineer, are there stores in the area that one would recommend?

I'm so excited!

AND my wife wants me to pack my Narooma AM brief. Rawwwwwwrrrrrr :)

Sounds like you are going to have a great vacation. Too bad that the only time I was in Germany was in 7th grade...(and that was a long time ago)

Must be great to have a wife that likes you to wear speeds. Mine just thinks I'm wierd.

Have fun & take pic's.

Any big department store in Germany has Speedos.
Even more - probably they will have Olaf Benz - you should buy one - they are expensive but you'll see ...

You can try this store, for example ....

I bought my first pair of HOM swim trunks in Germany.... Nice memories ...

The ones I took in Germany disappeared from my inbox. I guess I'll have to take some more. Drat!
