Beach Adventure

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day, morning, evening, or night!!! Today I went to Blacks Beach in San Diego its probably my third or fourth time going but I haven't been since last summer. It was a nice day but windy. First I set up a few feet to the right of the stairs that lead down to the beach. There was hardly anyone around me and I heard of the gay section of the beach so I walked for a few more yards down and found a few more guys lying out on their towels so I set up next to this one guy who looked to be around my age and was very cute. I setup my towel and pulled out my kindle to read for a few minutes but when I looked up from book I saw that he was standing in the shallow part of the water. He glanced at me and then looked ahead so I went into the water next to him. It was cold at first but my legs got use to it pretty fast then the rest of my body. He looked at me and said "I don't know if I want to dive under." "I said it was cold." Then after a few minutes he started to walk back to shore next to me and I extended my had and we introduced ourselves.

I'm usually shy and I use to have very bad social anxiety so this was a big step for me (I credit my diet, which helped me over come it.) . To introduce my self to a complete stranger. I guess being that we where nude on a nude beach might have been the icebreaker that I needed. I mean I we were both fully exposed lol. We kept talking as we walked back to our towels I moved mine closer to his. He was very sweet and kind. He had to leave a few minutes later to meet a friend so we exchanged numbers.

I hope I can meet up with him soon and that I didn't come off to weird or to shy.

On another note I have a question for the guys on here who have been to Blacks before... I usually take the less dangerous path down to the beach to the left of the glide port. The one most people take down with the man made stairs... however I did see some guys coming down the more dangerous path that really does not have any stairs. I was going to try an go that way but decided against it because it looked very sketchy even tough this one man had come down that path. The guy who had came down the path was actually hot young looking with a beard and was wearing a tank and naked on the bottom. I was wondering when he had taken his pants off... maybe somewhere on the sketchy trail... because my understanding is that at the top was the glide port?

Glad to hear you had a great time, I didnt realize that you were at a nude beach till the end of the story though. I wish we had a legitimate nude beach but that wont ever happen in this country. I think if I was there Id be afraid to be a little to "excited". Btw you have some guts to go bare!

@Texas_swimmer Thanks for the reply! At first it shocking when you see nude people on the beach but after you go several times its normal and no one cares. Most people think you have to go nude on the beach but thats not the case. I went this past sunday and most guys were in speedos (I was on the gay side of the beach). Sometimes you may get a little excited it happens. If you get excited and feel uncomfortable then you can just go in the water but no one cares.

Some people go nude to tan and then put their suit back on. Its a really friendly environment... you might get a creeper every once and a while thats why I set up where there is a large group of people so I don't become a target. But now I only go with friends. Safety in numbers.

There is a nude beach in NJ--It took me a few years to convince myself to go, but just as Frank has seaid, once you go once, no one cares what you look like. It was a huge step for me as well. Now, I just want to hang out with someone when I go, as going alone sucks!

I have found that you get to know the regulars the more you go. I meet three of my friends there just strike up a conversation. I also like to go on the weekends even though it can get packed because during the week there is hardly anyone there which is good but I like to be around people especially if my friends can't come.

Only time I have gone nude involving swimming is when I went skinny dipping in my pond on my property with 2 of my friends. I think I would like to go to a beach like you are describing, sucks though that Texas is so damn crazy about showing skin. If I ever go to California I am definitely trying out that beach lol. Its funny how I get nervous about wearing my speedos I cant imagine being bare skinned in front of strangers! Just hope its not full of old creepers..

I have never been on a nude beach before, it seems interesting to be able to go one day and experience the liberty of no clothes...
