Aussiebum nylon L vs XL

Post by rxcollegeguy » Tue Feb 05, 2013 6:27 pm

I was wondering how much of a difference in sizing there is between a L and XL in the aussiebum nylon suits?

I have the YKIKA Quack Duck suit in a Large that fits but snuggly. I was wondering if I ordered a XL in one of the loose suits if it would fit ok or be too big, compared to getting a Large.

Thanks!

Hi,
I'm in the same boat. Based on the size chart on the Aussiebum web site, the sizing, in inches, for a large and an extra large is:
34 to 35 - large
36 to 37 - extra large

Have you measured your waist? My waist measures at 36". So it looks like I need an XL, but I've been working out hard and expect to loose more fat before I really need to order my new suits for our upcoming vacation. So maybe I should really get a large.

It would be nice if someone could verify how accurate they feel the sizing numbers are for an Aussiebum in relationship to their own waist sizes.

Have fun.

I find the Aussiebum sizing always tends to run small. And if you've got cock/balls of average size or bigger then you'll find that a problem too. I've given up on their suits as all I've ordered I have had to send back the last three times. Because I'm hung they always dip down at the front, or if they sit comfortably at the front then they are too large at the back/legs. Very frustrating!!!

Well I'll be able to figure out more about these sizes in a couple of weeks. I just placed an order for 3 Aussiebum suits: Loose Freshwater, Loose Portsea, and Classic 2.5 Red. All large. I also figure tighter is better than looser.

Got my order in the mail today. I got the 1.5" Loose navy blue and a white WJ Raw jock strap, both in XL and they fit great and don't feel too tight around the waist.
