Aussiebum size

Aussiebum size
Hey guys need a little help. Im in need of a couple new suits, was thinking about getting aussiebums. The problem is I dont know if they stretch out or you need to get your actual waist size. Im a 34 waist but I can wear a speedo size 30 and 28. If anyone could help me out please do.

I personally find their not very stretchy. I'm a 30/32" in most speedos but my 30" (S) Aussiebums are waay to tight to be comfortable. I'll definately go for the next size up next time I buy a pair.
But then saying that - I don't like tight speedos, I find them uncomfortable, judging by the fact you're a 34" waist but can wear 28" I'm guessing you like them tight, so maybe a 32" would be a comfortable fit for you?

Sizing with Aussiebum is inconsistent at best. The same suit can vary between colors.
As far as stretch goes -- they make suits out of several materials and each has a different feel and amount of stretch. As always -- you have to try them on. (if its mail order, order a couple sizes and send back the ones that don't fit)

In reply to your question regarding having a size 34" waist, but finding that a size 28" or 30" Speedo suits you, I would suggest that it is the Speedo size measurements that are relevant. I won't comment on the Aussiebum sizing, but it would seem to me that you are capable of wearing a fairly small swim brief, and that you don't mind it being tighter rather than looser.
I am going to suggest (with an obvious degree of self interest) that if you would consider Caussie, then you would be able to purchase the same size in Caussie, as you have enjoyed in Speedo. If you particularly like a tighter fit, then you should be happy with a 28" Caussie, but probably the safer starting point might be the size 30", it certainly won't be lost on you.
Caussie has been created using the skills of a designer with an extensive Speedo background, so the size translates well between them, and Caussie is all about 100% nylon, as the original Speedos were.
Anyway, you can have a look at http://www.caussie.com.au, which, because I can't currently find the [url] function to automatically provide the link, can be easily accessed by a search for "Caussie".

Thanks for the advice. I'm still looking around but thanks, they do look good. I'm just mixing it up a bit see what I like.
