G'day Guys,

Olympic Diving
In the 10m platform, Tom Daley got a bronze. Matt Mitcham missed the cut for the finals.
Re: Olympic Diving
But David Bodia got the gold! Considering that he barely made the finals in 18th place, I was stunned that he got the gold but happy. But all those guys looked great in their speedos. I like olympic diving much more than swimming because the guys still wear the tiny briefs and the girls all look so great in their tight form fitting one-piece suits. It's great to be able to see everyones thighs. I love it when they show the underwater shots and the divers look so sleek as they slowly rise up from the depths, and then they take a quick breath at the surface before plunging below again for a quick underwater swim to the edge of the pool. Magnificent!
Re: Olympic Diving
And ill add to this--
Did you check out the girls beach volleyball? OMG is all I have to say. How those ever so tint bikinis stay on, ill never know!

It was a great win for him and I was glad. You can continue competing in diving longer than swimming so I hope we'll see them all again.Diveguy wrote:But David Bodia got the gold! Considering that he barely made the finals in 18th place, I was stunned that he got the gold but happy.

Re: Olympic Diving
Thanks John. Pretty cool. The camera guys tried to keep the speedos out of the picture but at least it wasn't all the time.JohnC wrote:Here are the highlights for David Boudia from nbc
Re: Olympic Diving
Yeah - another trick they use constantly is they put the graphics up to block a view of the suits
Re: Olympic Diving
What's the big fricken deal about the media showing below-the-waist views of swimmers and divers???
It's an athletic event -not a Sunday morning church service.
Is there some puritanistic Coalition For Family Values group that thinks a quasi-nude view of a guy's (or gal's) body is something unfit for public display???
Get over it already!!!

Re: Olympic Diving
I wish they would CD. The director chooses the shots and he probably is puritanical. It's stupid.California Dolphin wrote:Is there some puritanistic Coalition For Family Values group that thinks a quasi-nude view of a guy's (or gal's) body is something unfit for public display???
