I know someone who is an active beach volleyball player.
He says that while the vast majority of the players (including himself) wear board shorts, a few of the men play in speedos.
Has anyone else heard of or seen this?

i've seen it - informally. Sometimes guys will wear speeds for volleyball at 12th & ocean, miami beach. I also so a group further up the beach playing in briefs one time

My mate Mikey always wore red speedos for volleyball, whether anyone else was wearin them or not........
Sometimes he'd talk me into wearin mine too........
Most guys round here wear shorts for volleyball, but speedos are not that uncommon.
Once one guy is wearin them some of the others usually slip their shorts off too.
The exceptions are some of the fit lads from the life-savin clubs. Some of those guys wear speedos for pretty much everythin.
Sometimes they show off by wearin their team vests + speedos as their 'volleyball uniform'..............
Any excuse, eh! Still, I'm not complainin - they look hot!

I'm very visual, so i thought i'd inject my $.02. should be required uniform.
